Assemble and test the portable sensor

Get boards from Next Dimension Technologies

Done Dec 2007. Greg now has two of the boards in his office.

Build and install nose chip

Greg and Mark Woodka will do this together.

Get sampling software

Michael XYZ from JPL has software for controlling the Next Dimension board from a PC. The software can sample the conductivity of the polymer droplets on the chip. It can also run elementary analysis (training and testing for odor recognition).

Calibrate the sensor

Take the next dimension board w. chip in place to Lewis' lab and run calibration tests to make sure that all works well.

Build the sniffer

• Select pump
• Build air passages
• Test in the lab
