Abstruct: My research interests on robotics that contain three topics will be presented. (1) Robot intelligence: - Motion planning of multiple mobile robots for transporting and manipulating an large objects cooperatively - Navigation planning (path and viewpoint planning) of a mobile robot. (2) Robot mechanism: - Omni-directional mobile robot with step climbing ability. (3) Robot sensing: - Underwater sensing methods to overcome (bubble) noise problem, light refraction problem, and light attenuation problem. - Map generation with a mobile robot equipped with a laser range finder or a omni-directional camera. - Image restoration for rescue robots especially in rainy days. As to image processing researches, - Image processing technique for warped documents by using stereo vision - Image composition technique like chromakey will be also presented.
